folder is generally used with heavier fabrics, such as wool and
corduroy. It eliminates the bulk of the extra ply
on one side. A nylon or cotton backing is used to cover the seam |

is especially useful for ladies' shirts, where lighter
fabrics are used, because it reinforces the front. |
The
full wrap lining helps to produce a tight finish on
most wash-and-wear fabrics. |
